Odessa Ruth (Chapman) Tatom, 83, passed away in Chickasha on Monday, August 15, 2022.  The daughter of Thomas Frank Chapman and Linnie Mae (Boggess) Chapman, Odessa was born in Blanchard, Oklahoma on July 22, 1939. 


Odessa lived most of her life in Dibble, Oklahoma.  She attended the Free Will Baptist Church in Dibble.  Odessa enjoyed working in her flower beds and feeding her many hummingbirds.  She was always a happy person.  Odessa loved spending time with her family and playing with her grandchildren. 


Odessa was preceded in death by her parents; one great granddaughter, Erica McKenna; siblings, Ray Chapman, Charles Chapman, Mae Harmon, and Wayne Chapman.


Odessa is survived by her three daughters, Lita Moxley of Tuttle, Anita Brinsfield and Sean Kidd of Chickasha, Jackie Kettler and husband Jesse of Tuttle; ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; three great, great grandchildren; one brother, James Chapman and wife Judy of Dibble; one sister, Martha Lee of Newcastle; and several nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.


Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 20, 2022, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow at Dibble Cemetery, Dibble, Oklahoma.  Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home, Blanchard, Oklahoma.  Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
