Not sure what to say?

As a "young" Optimist, I have heard many stories about Odie Williams. He will be missed by the District. May God continue to bless his family as they move forward. He left you a great legacy of love and support for humankind. Helen Howard, Past Governor- AL-LA-MS Optimist

Odie Williams was a great friend and set a fine example of how to be an Optimist. I was involved in starting the Spanish Fort Optimist club in 1979 and soon after was his Lt Governor. What a guy. I remember him carrying Mr. T S Bear on stage at the International Optimist Convention in New Orleans to help Mr T S (the stuffed) Bear receive his "Patron" award for the O I Foundation.

Just a really great guy.

I will miss him.

I come to know Mr. Odie while working at Walgreens on 69 South I would help him get the items he came in for along with Mrs. Chandler. I will miss him along with that winning smile to the family you all are in my prayers. Your father was a joy to know and someone I was gad to call my friend . Titisha Sanders

Mr Williams was great to me. He was kind, and always took time to talk to me. I know he will be missed by many--I will be among them.

Tommy and Bradley, So sorry to hear of Mr. Odie's passing. My sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with you.

I worked with Odie back in the 1950's at the First National Bank in Mobile. Odie was a fine person.
