Not sure what to say?

Every year we place a photo of Ofelia in the art club Dia de los Muertos ofrenda that the students build. I tell the students who she was and so her legacy remains, I think of her every year and every year she gets to meet new art club students. -Professor of Art at Mountain View College

I am so sorry for your loss. Ofelia was a special person and I know you are grieving and missing her. I am so sorry I missed the funeral, but I was out of town. I am praying for your family and I know my dear friend is with God.

Ofelia and I worked together for many years at the City of Dallas. When I got married she and Carlos were in my wedding. Last time I saw her was December 4, 2010 when my husband and I were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. I wish we had kept in touch more often. Remember us now that you are in heaven with our Lord and pray for us!

My sincerest condolences to the family of a fine lady.

Mom - my heart is heaviest when the day is done and I am alone with my thoughts. I try to think of our happy memories but that too brings on tears because you are are no longer here. My mom, my friend - I love you so very much. I have faith that God will help ease the pain and sorrow.

I miss you, mama! I know you are in heaven, and that helps me get through this new change in my life. Please make sure that Jesus gives daddy the peace and comfort he needs to get through this change. Also, i know you are watching over the squibs as their new angel. Protect them for us when there are times that we can't. I love you a whole bunch circles!

Ofelia was a dear & wonderful friend. She was compassionate, caring & a loyal friend. I am forever blessed to have known her! I will greatly miss her, but I will cherish all the many memories! I love you my dear friend. The Lord comfort & bless your husband, Carlos, your daughters & grandchildren.

I didn't know Ofelia personally, but her daughter Carmen is a dear friend of mine. Knowing Carmen like I do, I can only imagine that is where she gets her loving and kind heart from. My condolences and prayers go out to the entire family.

Ofelia was a great lady and a wonderful role model and Mentor at Mountain View College, not only for the seniors but also the young students and myself as well. She volunteered her time also to helping to establish the first art club for college students and donated her art to the club auctions. I was always so impressed by her and loved to have her around. I will miss her.
