So very sad to hear my dear pen-friend has passed away. We started corresponding almost 70 years ago whilst still at school and have shared some happy and sad memories together over the years. Although we never met, I regarded Ofelia as extremely close and still have every one of her letters she sent to me. I am so sad at hearing of Ofelia's passing. She was a loyal friend to my sister, Rita, in England for 70 years and so became a friend of mine. I will miss her greetings at Christmas and shall remember her always. Condolences to all the family. God bless.
