Dear Ruth and Family;
I met you both at Cobb School while reading with Anya in 6th grade 97-98 (maybe). What wonderful stories you and Olav had to share with us here on Cobb, and then you carried them to Loch Lomond years later. Thank You! What a thrill it's been for me. Olav will be missed terribly, but you will be fine with your very large family and group of friends by your side to help you along the way.

Carl Peter and I were so saddened to read about Olav. As Charter Members of our Lodge, we loved having both your shining faces be part of our group. We always so enjoyed Olav's open-faced sandwiches with Norwegian goat cheese...yummmmmm!! Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family at this time of loss.

We met Olav in Church, HCC. What a delightful man, full of the holy Spirit. He would approach you with a smile on his face, he was so nice, friendly. He will be missed, but soon we all will be reunited in the house of the Lord.
You have your memories to keep you strong at this time. You have our Lord comforting you.
