Olga Colbert Jeffery

My condolences to Mrs. Jeffery's family and friends. She was my 6th grade teacher, and she had such a tremendous impact on my life. After a rough 5th grade, she was just what I needed. Firm, but kind. She believed in me and challenged me, and never let me off easy. But most importantly she took this shy, quiet, insecure girl and stuck me with one of the more outgoing girls in the class (Stacy). Neither Stacy nor I was happy about this. I think it's safe to say we would not have become friends...
