Not sure what to say?

Janis and Cathy, we are truly saddened to learn of your mother's passing. Our mother, Rose Fabbri Farrar, was a lifelong friend and beach buddy. They shared many wonderful moments together, from their early years all throughout their lives. Olga was an inspiration to our entire family for her selfless devotion to the betterment of New London in general and Ocean Beach in particular. She represented the embodiment of a positive, can do attitude.
God bless you all.

I was so sad to hear about the passing of Olga Lupien. She was a nice lady who I remember as 1 of the cafeteria ladies @ Winthrop Elementary School in New London. I would often talk with her at outside recess after lunch @ Winthrop School when I was a student there. My condolences go out to her family & friends at this difficult time She was a wonderful person who will be missed by all & May she r.i.p.

Janice and Cathy, My thought and prayers are with you. I will never forget her stories at the beach and comparing our cooking styles together and her trips she took with your dad. We had fun sharing our foods together. Every year my mom and would wait for that phone to ring to raise money for Save Ocean Beach and dinners. I will never forget her.

I’m so sorry to read of the passing of this “dynamo of a woman.”
Olga was friends with my parents (Amelia & Dom Dipollina)and Aunt & Uncle (Adria & Ernie Norville). She & I were in contact until this past year.
Please know the Lupien family is in my thoughts and prayers.
I’m unable to attend the funeral , but will be there in spirit.

Writing on behalf of our mom, Adma Woodhead, we are so glad that Mom and Olga were close friends for so many years, together with other dear friends forming a circle of sisterly camaraderie at Ocean Beach that lasted for many decades -- in addition to many other circles and events together. Our mom will miss Olga greatly. Ocean Beach will not be the same. - Mary & Sarah
