I was your mother's hairdresser for many years. I moved to FL to take care of my parents but we always stayed in touch.She was a wonderful person, always caring and young at heart. I missed my Christmas letter from her this year and I truly will miss her.

Dear Norkus Family: We are very sorry to learn of your mother's passing. Our Dad, Nick Hudson, was an Army buddy of your dad's. They had visited back & forth for many years. Our Mother, Sue and your mom have always kept in touch. She is sad to learn of her passing. Our thoughts & prayers are with you at this difficult time.

I was so fortunate to have Olga Norkus as my godmother. Not only was she a strong, dignified, intelligent, funny, and warm role model, she never once forgot to send me a card for my birthday, anniversay or holiday over the years. She and Frank were the oldest and dearest friends of my parents, Anne and Charles Kenyon. Mom, who is 90 and lives in California now, and I visited her just last month. Olga was a member of the Jersey Shore WAVES unit, and we so enjoyed having her attend our meetings and gatherings. I know the membership will be greatly saddened when they hear of her passing. May you feel that she is at rest and in endless Peace. Our Prayers and sincere condolences are with you at this difficult time. Thank God for the WWII generation, where would we be without them? God Bless Olga, and God Bless her service in the United States Navy!

Aunt Olga made the BEST Irish Soda Bread and boy did we celebrate St. Patty's Day. I will treasure her recipe. My prayers are offered for her and the family.
