Not sure what to say?

Shirley,
I'm so sorry for your loss. Rhees was so gentle and warm. I loved knowing his very fine craftsman side, and seeing how many friends greeted him even waiting in line at the post office. You are in my thoughts. Saturday night's performance was quite wonderful.
most warmly,
Tay (Haines)

While I can not claim to have known him well, Rhees is someone that I thought very highly of. Primarily I knew him in his capacity as a very talented furniture maker, and a truly kind human being. We was warm and supportive to many of us in the Arts community, and I consider myself lucky to have been a recipient of that good will. Thank you Rhees.

So sorry for the loss of your loved one.

Dear Ririe Family,

We send our love and condolences to all of you. We learned so much we didn't know about Rhees from reading the obituary. It was beautifully written. What a talented and hard-working man! He lived a very full and good life and enriched ours.

With fond memories of your dear family,

Sherry and Kent Linebaugh

Dear Del and Becky,

We express our condolences on the loss of Del's brother. His obituary was very interesting and impressive.

We'll be thinking of you.

Love,
Gary and Mildred Watts

Dear Robin and family,
I am so sorry to hear about your father's passing. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. It was good to see you at Ruth Funk's funeral - time seemed to stand still for a brief moment. Again, my deepest sympathy on your great loss.

I am one of the lucky members of Rhees's family. As a son-in-law (Melinda), I cannot adequately express my feelings and gratitude for this wonderful man. He lived a very accomplished life and has inspired many to greater heights. However, of all of his accomplishments he was most proud of his four daughters and their families. What a treasure it has been to have had him in my life.

My memories of Mr. Ririe are always of him smiling broadly and of course, his beautiful furniture. He was a great man and a great example to me of the way that life is meant to be lived. And, I also loved the way he kept a Porsche in his garage, in perfect condition. I will never forget him and hope to live up to his example.

Robin, and Bill, Shirley and Family, Rhees's always had a big smile for us on Sundays and whenever else we were able to visit. He got a kick out of mimicking my high toned Hello Reese! answering WHAT!!!! We are greatful for the time at the villa we could visit with him. Much love to your family at this time.
