Not sure what to say?

Irene changed my spiritual life tremendously nearly, 9 years ago. Her insight on our God book was from the original Aramaic and Hebrew teachings. I so loved learning the "real truth" about God. Irene had a relationship with God that was nothing like I've ever witnessed. During the years that I've known her, her devotion to help others know God was beautiful! Thank you, Irene. I know you are busy, busy in heaven gaining even more knowledge and experiencing God's love that we all will be...

Today 13 ladies got together to celebrate Irene's life. We all have sat at her table over the years studying the Bible...the God Book as she would say. The ladies shared how Irene came into their lives right when they needed her. Some were going through painful divorces, children or grandchildren had serious medical issues or marriages just needed a healing touch. Some had been in church their entire lives, but didn't really know who God said He was. It was a joyful day...praising God and...

Irene Brougher was the educator who had the greatest impact in my life. I´m 65 years old now. I can trace back many of my life´s accomplishments because Mrs. Brougher genuinely cared about my success. I was a trouble-making 7th grader, kicked out of a class during the 1972-1973 school year and again the next year. Instead of attending those classes, I sat in Mrs Brougher´s office under her guidance. I really looked up to her. She challenged me in a way no other teacher had. It became...

I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Irene in Idaho with my mother in law about 6 years ago. I participated with several ladies gathered around her dining table for Bible study that week. Though she was experiencing some significant difficulties with her eyesight and health, her focus was completely on God and reaching out to others. What an amazing and lovely lady.

I knew your mom as Irene back in the 1980's. She was the guest speaker for our churches ladies night out back in about 1984 or 85. I hung on her every word as she spoke directly from God's Word. She offered her counseling services to any of us ladies who wanted to make an appointment. I was 32 back then. After one counseling session with her she asked me to take a particular bible passage home and return next time to share with her what I got out of it. To her surprise I had several pages of...

Our condolences for Mama Irene´s family. Prayers & blessings from the Gaonas!! Tanya attended lots of her Bible study classes to me she was Mama Irene.

I worked with Irene at Columbia River HS when I was a counselor there, and she was such an amazing teacher! She was able to teach all levels of students in any subject. She was an inspiration!

I was very fortunate to have had Irene Maas as a teacher at Hough elementary. I have thought of her many times over the years and wondered how her life progressed. I never knew of her many accomplishments as an athlete but reading about her in the obituary made me smile. I am sure a lot of my friends remember how far she could hit a softball at Hough. God rest in peace Miss Maas. You were truly a very special person. Harold

I remember Irene well. A fierce competitor on the tennis court! I was on the receiving end of it. Rest in peace, Irene.
