Creasey, Olive A. "Aunt Ollie", 97 of Cranston, died Sunday July 12, 2009 at her home. She was the wife of the late USAF, MSGT, Elmer C. Creasey.Born in Providence, she was the eldest daughter of the late George and Mary Jane (Sears) Tainsh.Mrs. Creasey was employed in the textile industry for 23 years at Greystone Mill and the Olneyville Bleachery in Providence. She was a retail clerk for Woolworth Company for 15 years. Mrs. Creasey was the oldest member of the Church of the Epiphany 80 plus years having joined the church in 1928. She was a charter member, since 1954, of St. Mary's Guild and treasurer of the church for 30 years. For over 25 years Mrs. Creasey helped make hundreds of May baskets for the ACI and the IMH. She was a member of Gold Star Wives.She is survived by one daughter Grace Osediacz and her husband Edward W. of Cranston, Grandmother of Daniel J. and Katherine R. Osediacz both of Cranston. Sister of Lillian E. Martineau of Johnston and Thomas Tainsh of Payson, AZ. Sister of the late Margaret Rosa, Elizabeth Wiggins, Marion B. Conway and George A. TainshFriends may call at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home & Crematory, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick Tuesday 6-8pm. Funeral service will be at St. David's on the Hill, 200 Meschanticut Valley Parkway, Cranston, Wednesday at 10am. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
