Not sure what to say?

Mom, As I find myself with several health challenges at the age of 74, I think of you. You may think we weren't listening, but we were. Doing chores and babysitting and cleaning teachers houses gave me a sense of pride and a way to purchase items needed for school. I was on a budget while I was at college. Working at the library gave me cash for all the essentials and cash for laundry machine and an occasional hot cocoa and slice of pumpkin pie in the winter when I was homesick. College was...

I think of you often, Mom and all you taught us. I especially remember your sense of humor and your love for the seven of us and your love for Dad. I love you and hold you close to my ❤.
Patty

It was a delight to read about all that Ollie did and accomplished in life. Psalms 90:10 highlights how those that are "especially strong" live beyond the common life span. That's a fitting description of Ollie. She will certainly be missed by many. May fun and loving memories stay close to your heart and may the peace God gives be with you.

I will always remember Ollie and her BIG sense of humor. She was a (hoot) at bingo in East Syracuse.

Rob and Vicki, I'm so sorry to hear about Olive. You are in my thoughts and prayers at this time.

So sorry for your loss. Ollie was one of a kind...always there to help out. I remember her working with my mom at the church. May she rest in peace. .

Sorry for your loss. What a great lady. She was tough and always said how she liked the snow. She would walk to church and I gave her a few rides. I wish I got to hear more of her stories. Prayers for her and the family.

Herb, Linda, Patty, Susie, Robbie, Annie and families,
So sorry for your loss, your Mom, an icon for all kids growing up on Webber Dr will be remembered by many. She taught me how to bat and how to make a blackberry pie....she made the best! We shared toys on our street and 15 years ago I got a call from Mrs Reutter asking if I would like a doll my Mom sent for Susie in 1959..... The Saucy Walker Doll sits on a bed and will continue to remind me of the fun on Webber......We grew up...

Anne and family, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your Mom, "Ollie". I have many fond memories of playing softball with her on her Olive's Pits team. And I will always remember how she used to walk all around town. She sure did live a long life. Cherish all the many memories of her and she will be alive in your hearts forever. RIP Ollie.
