Not sure what to say?

Dear Alice,

It sounds like your mother was a truly remarkable woman. Like you, she seems to have touched the lives of many people throughout her life. I'm keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers this week, and I hope that you are all holding up okay.

My deepest sympathies go out to the family.

Mrs. Walsh was a very special lady who touched the lives of many. It was a honor to have known her. She will be missed.

Olive Walsh was an important person from my high school years. Her house was always welcoming to her children's friends. I spent many fond hours there. She was always busy, cheerful and supportive and a joy to be with. I recognized, even as a teenager, that she was special. I know she will be missed so much by her family and friends. She was truly a unique and special individual who will be fondly remembered by all of us who were lucky enough to spend time in her presence.

Ms. Walsh has shared some much of her life and touch so many people. She is a spirit that will live on forever.

We always enjoyed having Olive at family gatherings. She added such grace and spirit.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

She was exceptionally kind, and very patient with the younger kids who loved to skate, and tended to be a little more reckless on the ice. I am 42 years old and still skate regulary, I hope to be able to enjoy the sport for my whole life as she did. My deepest...
