Not sure what to say?

Dear Jane,

I just found out about Sonny's passing. Although I have only known him for a few years, I can't believe how close he made me feel. Our love for golf, our passion for teaching kids with disabilities, and our birthdays are just a few of this things we had in common.

He was so wonderful and had such a huge heart that he made me feel like family after just a short time together.

When I watched him with the kids, I just knew that's why he was put on...

To Mrs.O.P.Ackerman,Jr.,Dusty and LuAnn, I just learned of your great loss and wanted you all to know how much I cherished being your next door neighbor with all those floors.. I pray for your future and wish I could have seen my friend. I have a few photo's I will try and find.. Love to see y'all.. Lord willing. From all of us to you, God Bless.... Al, Jr.

I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Sonny. I really enjoyed working with Sonny at the Sugar Creek Adapative Golf Program. Sonny was alway so positive and ready to help other people. He helped to make people smile again. We will truly miss him. I offer my deepest sympathy to the family from all of us at Sugar Creek Golf and Tennis and the Adaptive Golf Program.

May God's Grace comfort you.

Sonny is my popaw. And i love him more than anyone could ever imagine. I thank him so much for all that he has done for not only me but for eveyone. He is a true angel but just in a disguise. He touched everyone and loved them for them. He will always be remembered. His life with Jesus will go on.

Dear Jane,

How sorry we were to hear of Sonny's passing. With you at his side, he fought a long and courageous battle.

Sonny touched all of us in such a special way, Jane. We will miss him. How lucky we were to have met you both at his Adaptive Golf Clinic in Roanoke, Virginia. Sonny was an inpiration to us all. He had a knack for making everyone feel quite capable of accomplishing something they thought they could not. What a...

Dear Jane and family,
No one who met Sonny could ever forget him. He had an inner light that he shared willingly with others. My condolances to you. He will be missed by many, but his spirit will live on in those he touched. Joe and Ruth were blessed to know him. He knew how to be a friend.
With sympathy,
Mary Welch Rogers

Jane, LuAnn & Dusty:

I was sorry to read about Sonny. What a tribute he was to folks w/ prosthesis. I kept in touch thru folks like Kathy Hanes, Timmy, et al. I am mailing my Mom a copy of the article in the paper yesterday. I hope all are well. You are in my prayers.
