Sally, what a remarkable love story you and Pudge had. I never met him, but over the years heard many comments about his meaningful involvement in the community. I am certain Ben welcomed Pudge into heaven with open arms. I am so sorry for your loss, and my prayers are with you during this difficult time.

I worked with Mr. Henkel for many years at Thompson Hine. I admired him for the way he worked with everyone from secretaries to associates to firm staff, always smiling, positive and a pleasure to work alongside. My most heartfelt condolence goes out to his family and friends whom, I'm certain, will feel his leaving the most. God speed, Mr. Henkel. May God have a nice green for a round of golf and a spot in the garden for your tomatoes. You will be dearly missed.

AS THE OLD BASEBALL SAYING GOES,PUDGE WAS A 5 TOOL PLAYER.HE COULD IT ALL.HIS GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT WAS RAISING A WONDERFUL FAMILY AND STILL GETTING INVOLVED IN COUNTLESS CAUSES.ALONG WITH SALLY,A JOB WELL DONE.

I never knew Pudge but I am so impressed with the life of integrity and service that he led on this earth. He seemed to find so many areas in which to be involved which advanced the City of Cleveland and its citizens. When he appears before the Throne of Grace, he will be warmly welcomed home as "a good and faithful servant"

RIP Pudge. I did not know you personally, but as a life long Cleveland native I am so thankful for your efforts on behalf of Playhouse Square, education, and vocational training. My sincere condolences to the family.
