Read MoreWe knew Joe & Caroline during their stay in London, they were wonderful friends and we had holidays with them, in particular Portugal where Joe showed off his amazing cooking skills ! We missed them when they returned to the USA in 1982,but they are always in our memory.

I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Joe. When he returned to A&M to take his position as a reference librarian in Government Documents, I was a clerk there and he was my boss. I got to be in the unusual position of training my boss :) Joe was a wonderful guy and I loved working with him. My deepest sympathies to Carolyn and his family
