I took Chief Storti's position at SFFD Management Services in 1988. I still recall a limo picking him up with his family in front of SFFD headquarters, 260 Golden Gate Ave. Chief Mike Farrell and most of headquarters were out front to see him off to many years of retirement. He had a very happy smile as he sailed off. A good man and a very dedicated firefighter.
