Not sure what to say?

Dear Family,
I just want to say what a wonderful lady Mrs. Dodge was but you already know that. I worked for her and I will never forget her. She was the kindness person that I have ever met and she had a way of making you feel at home and comfortable in her home. Thanks so much for the DVD. I know that she will be missed by many and she was loved and respected by all
Carl & Ellie Nordin, Mesa, AZ.

I miss Mrs. Dodge so much it is hard to write, even now in July. She had a way of making me feel like I was really important as an individual. Her death has left a huge hole in my heart but I am not interested in filling it because it will always belong to her.

Olivia had been a member of the Cable Natural History Museum since 1990. We have always appreciated her support over the years and will miss her.

To my good buddy,
I'll miss our enjoyable sunroom chats. I'll miss the harmony we shared in singing old tunes like "Wild About Harry" (over and over) and how about our not-so-high-kick dancing, (we really wow'd 'em). I'll miss you buddy, but I know there's a new star shining brightly up there in heaven and that you're at peace.

Your good buddy,
Mitzi

Dear family,
My condolences on your loss. I am a third cousin of Olivia's. Thomas Irvine was the brother of my great-grandfather Brian Irvine. My grandmother, Anna Irvine Grover, and my mother both spoke often of "Uncle Tom" and his accomplishments. My mother and her sister visited the Irvine home in St. Paul as teenagers. I met your mother/grandmother at one of the open houses once it had been given to the state. I was very proud to have this lovely home having been a part of my...

Dear family,
Mitzi, Katie and I are deeply saddened by your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We are all better people for having know Mrs. Dodge. She was a leader and a contributor to nature and humanity.

I worked for Mrs. Dodge ten years ago and will carry her example with me for the rest of my life. As a new college graduate, she encouraged me to explore fully what the world had to offer. She was a stellar example of what a woman, mother, and citizen should be. I feel lucky to have known her.

Dear Tom and family,
I was so very sad to hear about your mom's death. Our families have spent so much time together over the years and I know my mother will especially miss Olivia - she even has a picture of us playing in the Governor's mansion. I often think of our swimming lessons in your pool as I sit for hours watching my own 2 boys compete in various swim meets.
Please know that I am thinking of your family. I hope the wonderful memories that you have of your mother will give...

Tom, Kim and family,
Arne and I were truly honored to have known Olivia during the eight years we spent in the Minnesota Governor's Residence. As others have said, she was truly one in a million. She will be missed as a huge contributor to the quality of life of all Minnesotans. The Governor's Residence was one, but many of her contributions to that quality of life. We send you our deepest sympathies.
