Not sure what to say?

She was my favorite teacher class of 1989 Jefferson HS

I met Olivia in college, and I can admit without embarrassment that I loved her. She was one of the sweetest, most decent and kind people I have ever met. I wish I could have seen her and Jerry again and met her family. My deepest condolences to the Froebe family. Paul Brandis

A very sad discovery when I came across this announcement. We had lost contact for a few years, and when I decided to try looking Olivia up, I find this. Jerry, Dana and Heidi, I hope you are all doing okay. Our thoughts are with you. This Thanksgiving day I am flooded with joyous memories of Olivia from many, many years of my life and as a great friend to my family. Making gingerbread houses, skiing in Bend, meeting on top of Mt. St Helens, gourmet picnics, the wonderful support she gave me...

Our prayers go out to Olivia's family. Through the years we have always enjoyed sharing a few words and a great smile from Olivia. Such a delightful person, so genuine and she always took a moment to care. Jerry, caring thoughts to you and your family. Susan and Bob Turner

I sat side by side Olivia in The Dalles High School Band flute section. .We became friends. She was Majorette & I was a twirler in the Marching Band. She gave me some basic twirling lessons & set me up for our performances. She was so sweet to me & I really looked up to her. We went our different ways but I have never forgotten her & never will.

My husband and I both were students at North Eugene. We were blessed to have Mrs. Froebe as our sophomore English teacher in 1959-60. What a fine, inspiring teacher and human being she was. I remember her telling us that she had to type our exams in her bathroom with the door closed & the typewriter sitting on a thick bath towel to muffle the sound so she didn´t disturb her husband as he studied for his law school exams. Fast forward 7 years and I was the young English teacher trying...

Olivia was so wonderful and kind. She included me and my daughter in many ways and always sincerely cared about what we were doing. I so enjoyed spending time with her and Jerry, Heidi and Dana and Ava, and family and friends. My condolences and love to you all.

Jerry - I only met Olivia one time at Dot Purdy's barbecue, but found her to be so full of fun and life. I'm sorry she is gone. I send you my prayers for comfort. Sandy Hanson
