It is with profound sadness the family of Olivia Elaine Bradley Green of Birmingham, AL announce her passing on September 30, 2020, following the recent discovery of advanced-stage cancer. As a beloved mother she leaves to mourn her son, Arthur B. Green (Jaquitta), daughter Allison Green Johnson (Calvin), three grandsons, two sisters and host of family and friends. Olivia was a graduate of Fisk University and Atlanta University obtaining her undergraduate and graduate degrees in History. Olivia was an Educator who made “history come alive” at Westfield, Wenonah, Homewood High Schools and Miles College. She was a faithful member of Sardis Baptist Missionary Church, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Between Friends Book Club, Fisk Alumni Association and the American Bridge Association - Birmingham Chapter. For Olivia, family was first and spending time with them was what she cherished. She treasured her friends and relationships. We were fortunate to experience her love of life and compassion for people during the time we had her.
