Olivia Adele Hutto, affectionately known as Foo or Liv, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, May
8th 2023. Foo was born in Danville Indiana on March 4, 2000. She is survived by her mom, Saya Christie
(Bobby Ripberger), dad Brandon Carter, brother Cam, and sister Isabella. Grandparents Rex (Dawn)
Christie and Saya “Nana” Northrup, as well as numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. We would be
remiss to not mention the village that surrounded her throughout her much too short life. These people
and their impact are far too numerous to list but their contribution is what is means to truly have a tribe.
Olivia is preceded in death by her papaw, Frank Northrup and Great Grandparents, Walter “Lincoln” and
Carol Ann Christie.
Foo was so tiny when she was born but already a force, her fiery red curls, matched her spirit. She was
beautiful, born with gorgeous blue eyes and porcelain skin. She was also mischievous, in the most
hilarious ways. From “ice skating” with broken eggs on the kitchen floor to “hiding” her freshly cut hair in
her Barbie convertible, she always kept us on our toes. Her laugh and her smile are something we will
miss most.
Olivia resided in Avon for most of her life, graduating from Avon High School in 2018. She was a violinist
with Avon Symphony Orchestra. Watching her play will always be one of my favorite and most cherished
memories. Foo also was skilled in ceramics, a talent she first discovered in High School. Her hands
crafted beautiful pieces of art and music. She followed in her brother’s footsteps by becoming a lead
member of the Student Athletic Training Department in High School, her compassion and caring helped
her flourish in this role.
Foo was loyal, hardworking, passionate, and caring. She was wildly funny and had the most contagious
laugh, her wit was something to be admired. Foo loved animals, she never met a puppy or a kitten she
did not want to bring home. She loved to be with her nana and papaw at the farm as well as her Aunt
Claw and Paul in North Carolina. She loved sunflowers, and beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
Our sweet Foo went home, she left too soon. As we try to wade through this unimaginable grief we must
remember who my beautiful girl was. The love that dwelled inside her, that is who she was. The beauty
that radiated from her eyes, that is who she was. Her family, her loyal companions, that is who she was.
Our sweet girl is at peace now, a peace she searched for in the last few years. There are no tears in
heaven, there is no sorrow there, God is with her, as he always was. Her tears are wiped, her heart is at
peace, wounds are healed. The sorrow and grief are not where you will find her, she does not live there.
She was born of love, raised in love, and is now resting in love with God. That is where our sweet girl
lives. That is where you will find her.
Sweet Foo, I miss you so much. I can't believe this is real. I love you, forever.

I love you so much. The sun isn’t as bright without you here and I wish every single day that I could call you and that this would all be a dream. I hope you are at peace and I love and miss you so much. Until we meet again, my sweet sister.

At this time, it may not matter what we say to your grieving family and friends but here is a quote for now “wherever a beautiful soul has been. There’s a trail of beautiful memories.” Hugs prayers love repeat.

Liv had such a bright and beautiful soul. She was so unique. Her personality was literally like no other. She always had a way of making people smile and her laughter was so infectious. We could be in class, and I would simply look over at her and she could make me laugh so much so that we would get in trouble and be separated from each other. Her and I spent so much time together during the last years of high school and I would do anything to go back and just relive one more day with her. It...
