Omar Shakespear Pound

It is with sadness that I read the news of Omar Pound's passing. I attended a reading of his translation and once he spoke with you, he always remembered your face when running into you on campus. It is truly admirable that he taught English composition with all its nuts and bolts. I would run into him in the stationary shop as he would be looking for one more coloured pen with which to edit his draft! I extend to his family my sympathy for their loss.
