I was stationed with Omer in the late 80's when we were both assigned to 1CEVG at Barksdale AFB, LA. Not only was he a consummate professional, Omer was fun to be around. He was one of a kind with a quirky sense of humor. I had not seen Omer since my retirement in '90 but I reconnected with him a year or so ago. We talked about getting together, so sorry that will not happen. My sincere condolences to Dorothy and family.
