Not sure what to say?

Randy, Russ, Vicky, Terry, John and Pam-
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. I’m afraid I never got to know a lot of my younger cousins, (I was just a bit older than Cindy and Judy.) but your dad was my favorite uncle. Omer always had a smile and a joke and without a doubt was one of the kindest people I have ever known. I remember as a small child at family gatherings Omer could always be counted on to pick on me or pull some practical joke on me. He had a way of making people...

Hello everyone- If you got a chance to know my grandpa Omer, then you are one of the lucky many. He was one of the most Big hearted people I've known in my lifetime. Always smiling and laughing. Always the cook and baker. Always the care giver. I would like to share one of the last things that we talked about. It was at his 80th Birthday Party when he and grandma were getting ready to leave. He turned and looked at me and said "You guys sure have such a great time when you all get...

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. May the memories of your
Dad (Grandfather) comfort you in the days to come.

our thoughts are with you

To the Kunkel family and friends of Omer,

Please accept my sincere condolences.

Omer's passing leaves an empty place with all of us who knew him.

Omer took special pains to make me feel at home at the Kunkle klan gatherings that I attended and no matter what we happened to be talking about he also never failed to pull my leg, once or twice.

I will miss him.

My heartfelt thoughts & prayers are with each of you. May the memories of Omer give you all comfort during this time. It gives me peace to know that he joins my Grandpa (Bernard Kunkel) in heaven.

It's hard to believe that two of my best friends in the world have both left the past 3 months. We planned on seeing Omer the last week in Jul for a taste of his dandelion wine and a game of ucer against the women. Us men won most of the time, because Margaret would be to scar to bid and it was helpful sometimes seeing her cards. Everytime we came back to Iowa, the first think we wanted to do was to see Omer and Margaret for coffee, pastries, ucer and then a shot of wine. I enjoyed talking...

So sorry for your loss. you all were great neighbors.
