Omolade Efunyanju Jones Perry

I first met Lade in the Fall of 2018. She walked into my class with the biggest smile and chose a seat in the front row eager to learn. Over the course of the semester I learned more about Lade, her career in the Navy and her passion for baking. Lade also had a passion for people as well. In class she would encourage the younger students and they would look to her for advice. The students looked up to Lade and had a great deal of respect for her.

Omolade was a student in my class for just a short time, but she is remembered as a determined, ambitious, positive, exceptional person and professional. We are blessed with all she contributed, but we are less without her. Sending love and comfort to her family.

Lade was a student in my class at the CIA, her energy, enthusiasm, and dedication to mastering her studies were evident in all that she did. Always asking questions, looking for ways to engage others, and absorbing ALL that life presented to her. Her love for life, her dynamic style, and her gift of lifting others will remain with us all.
