Opal Eaves Obituary

Opal Y. Cordell Eaves born September 15, 1925 at home on North Shartel, Oklahoma City to Adelia Flanery Orr & Onie Y. Orr. She died August 21, 2002 at 13220 St. Andrews with husband of 57 years at her side. She graduated from Central High Class of '45, she belonged to Silk Stockings & Black Skirts Pep Club Class of 45. Art Club of Eufaula. She was an accomplished artist and won many awards with her paintings. She married Clarence Eaves on October 25, 1945. They had two sons: James Terry & wife Bridgette & Raymond Timothy Eaves. 3 grandsons: Andy & wife Kindall, Jimmy & Michael, two great grandsons: Andrew and Sean, also surviving is her sister Catty Kirk. Clarence & Opal retired to Lake Eufaula in 1982. She worked in the medical field for many years, came out of retirement to manage Harris, Osborne Oil & Gas in OKC. A special thank you to Opal's care giver Loretta Quintero & her Doctor Dustin Burckley. In lieu of flowers you may make a donation to Preferred Hospice 10007 S. Penn. OKC, OK 73159. Services are 10 AM Saturday 8-24 at Baggerley Memorial Chapel Funeral Home. Baggerley Memorial Chapel 13313 N. Kelley, OKC (405) 755-1111
