Opal Faye Root

Both Charles and Opal were great people. worked with Charles many years at NSWSES and got to know Opal as a gracious and loving hostess. Both are in our prayers.

Dave and I are so sorry that Opal had to leave so soon. Her wonderful memory and her vivid stories of the present and the past are treasures we'll always remember. Pure goodness and kindness is what she was. I never saw her in a bad mood or unhappy, despite her ailments. She will be so so missed but she leaves a legacy of so many great memories for those of us who were lucky enough to have been even a small part of her life. I will miss seeing Opal across the aisle from me at 9:30 mass every Sunday. She was so sweet and kind and loved people. Her "greeters chair" at the side entrance will never be the same without her. I loved her and will miss her!!

Opal was always so warm and welcoming. May she Rest In Peace

My family and I were wondering about Opal. We missed seeing her the past two weeks at church. This morning it hurt my heart to hear of her passing. My prayers go out to Carol, her siblings and the grandchildren. Opal was very proud of her family. She talked about you all of the time.
It was such a blessing to greet alongside her every Sunday. She will be missed by so many.
