If I could describe Opal with just a few words, I would use "grace, peace, grandeur, enchanting, beauty and majesty." I can't help but smile when I think about her. She was very kind to me. Like anyone would say, just being around Opal, you felt loved, heard, supported, and like family.
She was a truly remarkable woman. Her work changed lives and opened doors for thousands to have the best education possible. She was our Queen.
