OPHELIA COX Obituary

COX, OPHELIA CECILE (CRUZE) - age 95, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2014, at Heritage Assisted Living. Ophelia was born on May 18, 1918 in Knoxville, Tennessee, the daughter of Floyd Emerson Cruze and Clementine (McCammon) Cruze. She graduated from Gibbs High School. Ophelia retired from John H. Daniel Co. and was a member of the Baptist Church. Ophelia is survived by sister-in-laws, Mildred (George) Cruze of Knoxville, Tennessee, Carol (McCammon) Cruze of Knoxville, Tennessee; step daughter, Becky Gambill of Sydney, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Clementine Cruze; and four brothers, Dewey, Union, Ellis, and Grover; as well as husband, Kenneth Cox; and step daughter, Gail Wiseman. Family and friends may visit Berry Funeral Home at 3704 Chapman Hwy. Knoxville, TN 37920 at their convenience on Friday, January 17, 2014, from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. Family and friends will meet on Saturday, January 18, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. for a graveside service at Zion Lutheran Church.
