She was preceded in death by her parents, Ossie McCray, Sr. and Estelle McCray; sister, Ruth Benjamin, and brother, Ossie McCray, Jr.

Those left to cherish the lovely memory of her are: one daughter, Miesha McCray (Adarrell); four grandchildren, Kamri Elam, Sahara Elam, Ashtan Silmon, and Addisan Silmon; two brothers, Ezekiel McCray (Loretta) of Longview, Texas and Clifford McCray (Barbara) of Marshall, Texas; two sisters, Helen Boykins and Janice McCray both of Longview, Texas and a host of loving nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
