Ora Mae (Ward) Rodgers the second child born May 11, 1946 in Crawfordsville, Arkansas to late (James A. Ward) and Ella Ward. Ora Mae (Ward) Rodgers received her formal education at Lincoln high school and she furthered her education at Milwaukee Area Technical College. She also received Certified Licenses from the state of Wisconsin Department of Health and Family Services. She had numerous years of training and experience in the medical field. She was ecstatic about working with different people. It was her passion to care for others. Ora Mae (Ward) Rodgers was not only passionate about caring for others she had a everyday mission to take care of her family. Family meant the world to her. She loved to cook and prepare meals for the family gatherings that she loved to put together. She also loved to entertain and dance and "yeah" she can dance. She could hold a great conversation and was very well rounded. She could discuss any topic, wheather it was sports, and we all Know how much she loved her Green Bay Packers, politics or even just your everyday news. She also loved to play her card games (Queen Of Spades) was the name of the game. When she would go out on the town she would stay dressed to impress and would always ask you "How I look ... I Don't look that bad do I?" Mae was full of life and a energetic and very wise women. Mae accepted Christ in her life at an early age and had a strong relationship with the Lord. Ora Mae (Ward) Rodgers departed this life on April 6, 2012. She was preceded in death by her Father James Ward, her Grandmother Sallie Bell-Harris and oldest brother Nathaniel Ward. She leaves to cherish her precious memories; her siblings Rosie Ward, Katherine Ward, Robert Ward, Emma (Leonard) Williams, Linda Ward, Eugene (Teresa) Ward and Loretta Ward. Also her Children Jeffery Rodgers, Teresa (James) Elam, Lorri Rodgers-Williams and three step-children; Shannon, Shawn and Karl Spencer. Her Grandchildren Laquinte Warren, Demetrice Brown, Jeffery Rodgers Jr. Kaytell, Montrell and Brandi Elam. Her Great-grandchildren Demetrice Brown Jr., Leilani Warren and Dontrell Brown. She had many nieces, nephews, cousins, step-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and close friends. Mae touched so many people lives and had many special relationships and lifetime friends, it would take another lifetime to name them all.... Ora Mae Rodgers we will miss you so much and will have countless loving memories to help us keep you near our hearts.
