Not sure what to say?

My sincere and heartfelt condolences to the Dann family. I was so blessed to have known Orelia for over 20 years. She was a wonderfully supportive teaching partner, friend and mentor. She is greatly missed.

I only learned of Orelia´s death this summer after trying to contact her to get together and calling Greenhills School whose staff informed me that she had died. Orelia is the first person I remember meeting in what became the Association of Independent Michigan Schools Teacher Services Committee and I remember her as an outstanding educator and leader in professional development. She inspired me and became a close colleague and a dear personal friend. I am terribly saddened by her loss...

Mrs. Dann was one of my favorite teachers at Greenhills. I learned a great deal from her -- not only history but personal comportment as well. My sincere condolences to her family.

My deepest sympathies to Mrs. Dann´s family. She was not only my History teacher for several classes, but also my advisor. She was a great teacher, and a compassionate and wonderful woman. She will be missed.

Mrs. Dann was truly an icon and inspired myself and 2 sisters to seek world travel and knowledge. I will always remember the surprise in her face when I presented her with a pypyrus I had brought back for her after one of my many travels to Egypt, again, inspired by my lovely teacher RIP, you have brought joy to many Greenhills generations. I became friends with John at Friends School, and was in their wedding party. We have enjoyed seeing their daughters grow into wonderful young women. Orelia had a great career and enjoyed her VA home on the water. We will miss her and we will plant a tree in her honor.

My condolences to the Dann family, she was my teacher at Greenhills for a couple of classes and taught with my mom there for many years our whole family thought she was a great teacher and colleague.

Peace to you Dr Dann from your legion of Clements Library friends.

Mrs. Dann was my Ancient History teacher at Greenhills in 7th grade. She loved telling others about an assignment that caused me to construct an Egyptian pyramid out of banana bread! Funny lady.... you will be missed. Rest easy my fair lady. Ann S
