Not sure what to say?

He was the very best song leader I've ever seen in my 69 years. Very energetic
Very loving to all. And he loved God.

I just learned of the death of Mr. Moss (as I knew him), today, 6+ years late. He sought me out to mentor me even though I was not in his classes or choirs (he tried to get me in choir). We met often, nearly daily, before school and/or at lunchtime my senior year at Woodlawn High School in Shreveport, Louisiana, 1984-1985. We met for Bible study and prayer, as he purposely discipled me. He told me I might become a preacher, and I argued with him that I would never do that. He was right. I've...

Mrs. Moss, I am so sorry for your loss. He was truly a great man. He taught me so very much in the 1 1/2 yrs. I was in his choir at Woodlawn. I remember the yellow Mustang which he let me drive to McDonald's for burgers as a treat ! I loved him as a student and valued his advice when I became a choir director/music teacher. He will be sorely missed. I loved him. Patsy Smith-Ezernack

TO THE MOSS FAMILY:
I Had the great pleasure of meeting Mr. Moss while he was at The Valley. My daughter and son atttended there. Mr. Moss was the most kind and caring man that I have met. When my daughter's athletic scholarship was being withheld because of the grading system here in Louisiana, Mr.Moss, after hearing her sing in a school contest, called me personally to tell me not to worry that he would take care of things. And that is just what he did. Only a christian would do...

Mr. Moss, I still can't believe you're really gone. You were like a musical, spiritual father to me. You were so brilliant, so creative, so DEMANDING! Most of all, you were one of the Godliest men I have ever met or known. I know I will see you someday soon in heaven - we will sing the matchless music of heaven together!! I will love you always - my sincere condolences to your precious family - Debbie Taylor Weileder Woodlawn Class of 1975

Karen,
Your parents will never be forgotten. We loved Ollie and Orlando so much. They were such an example of love and devotion. We love you and will pray for God's precious hand to be upon you throughout the coming days. We will never forget how excited Orlando got when he sang "I'll Fly Away". And now....he has! He is singing to the Lord!!
Love you, The Ken Crain Family

I WAS IMPRESSED WITH MR. MOSS WHEN HE CAN TO OUR SMALL LOCAL CHURCH HERE IN ITTA BENA AND PROFORMED AS IF HE WAS IN NEW YORK. OUR YOUNG PEOPLE AT TABERNACLE M. B CHURCH WAS ALWAYS EXCITED THAT HE AND THE CHOIR CAME TO US. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY FOR YOU HAD A WONDERFUL MOTHER AND FATHER.

Dear Moss Family, I am sorry for your loss. Your Dad was a Christian, Loving, Kind, Caring, Talented, Leader, Example for us all. I met your parents when my family and I moved to Greenwood, MS in 1996, and began attending WP COC. I loved to sing when your Dad was leading. I asked your Dad to teach me to lead singing. We would meet before church to work on the beat patterns. I still have the staff and notes he wrote, folded in my pitch pipe case. I have used it to teach the young men at...

God Bless the Moss family. I will keep you all in my prayers.
