If I remember, he was the lead in Bye-Bye Birdie with the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera with Chita Rivera back in the 70's? Funny guy!

Though I did not know him personally but I thought he was a good actor especially in Dr. Quinn Medicine Women. May he rest in peace.❤

My deepest condolences to you Alley upon learning of Orson's sad and sudden passing. I grew up watching Orson as a panelist on To Tell the Truth and really enjoyed him through the decades when he appeared on television. His funny name and wry grin (along with Kitty Carlisle and others) delighted me as a child and felt comfortable and familiar. I'm a 4th generation native Californian from a somewhat theatrical family (neither famous nor infamous) and was touched reading about Orson's life...
