Thirty years ago today--June 14, 1993--Mr.Ogborn gave me my check ride for my private pilot's license. Although examiners are noted to be stern and no nonsense, he was very relaxed, down-to-earth, and a pleasure to fly with. Although that was the only time we met, I will never forget that day. I am sad that I didn't fly with him more, and am saddened by his passing. My warmest condolences to his family.
