Orville Webb

My condolences to the family and especially Alice, who was a childhood friend. Cindy (Cynthia Walker) Camphuysen.

I will always remember Brother Webb as a great person who loved the Lord. He was my seminar teacher and I loved attending his class and seeing him bring the scriptures alive. He had a flair for telling stories and I grew to love and appreciate him. I pray the Lord's blessings to be with his children and their families. I hope you are all doing well.

october 17 09 bro. Webb was also one of my all time special friend, leader,all around good guy. i have kinda thought of him as afather friend. i had oppertunity to attend to mellow drama in durango in 1979. then to visit him at his home in 1980. quite a man. loved him dearly.

Orville Webb was a legend for the kids 50-60 years ago as a teacher and Scoutmaster. Farren and I were best friends from first grade on, so I got to know Orville and Rena (another great influence on my life) well. Orville was my Sunday School teacher one year and I still remember his fervent testimony of Jesus Christ and His atonement and sacrifice for all of us; and, that when he died he wanted to feel death come as his spirit left his body. My prayers are with the family. Ruth Snider was my mother and I loved Orville as if he were my own true blood father. He was very kind to all of us and what a joy he had brought into my life and my sisters too. The Webb family is so dear to me and I feel your sorrow.
