We are so broken hearted to hear about Buz. He was one of our most favorite patients. He always filled our office with laughter and spirit. We loved him and will miss him. We cried today, but know that he is with his lovely sweet wife cracking jokes and teasing someone. What a great man with a great big heart! Please accept our most sincere condolences. Buz Ahern was a considerate, fair, honest, principaled man, who was concerned about the well being of others around and involved with him, and his work. I worked part time for the Lloyd Corp in the early 60's, during my early college years. My now deceased father, John Appel, also worked for Mr Ahern, as a Lloyd Corp. grounds and property maintenance forman, for eighteen years. He enjoyed working for Buz, immensely. We always enjoyed our time with Buzz over the years - Neaco, Beaco, and Edgewood Point. Always lots of laughs. We enjoyed visiting Buzz and Betty at Camp Sherman when we were over at Black Butte. They were such great family friends. We have missed Buzz since he left Edgewood and always thought about him as we walked past his door. Our thoughts are with all of you at this time.
