We are so sorry for your loss. Orv was a special man. We were very priveledged to be able to know and visit Orv. We enjoyed our visits and viewing his paintings.
We have another commitment so are unable to attend the service.
Praise the Lord that he is celebrating in heaven.

Janet, Dave and family: What a joy knowing that your dad is now in the arms of the Lord -- no pain, no suffering, no worldly concerns. I'm sure he heard the words, "job well done my faithful friend." He was truly a great and gifted person who left you and many others with countless fond memories. Whenever you cross the threshhold of "Once Upon a Time" may it always be a reminder of the good times you had with him.

I was privileged to have met Orv and hear his stories and view his wonderful paintings. Such a gifted man who loved sharing his knowledge and giving of himself to others. May God Bless his family in thier time of sorrow.

I was privileged to meet Orv and Charlotte only recently - a relatively late time in their earthly lives. The blessing was mine to have known them and I was very much encouraged by their Christian walk. What a beautiful ministry they provided just by the way they lived - I look forward to seeing them again!

Orwald has “graduated” to his highest calling. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and his loved ones.

I can remember many times when Mr. Nyland sang solos at Emmanuel when I was little.

His joy in the Lord and his witness will be missed.

Our prayers are with you as you sorrow in Orv's departure from this earth and rejoice in his arrival in heaven. I will never forget the many days spent with Janet at Orv & Rhoda's and how they introduced me to their Scandinavian heritage.
