Not sure what to say?

Mr. Butler was a great man and a great teacher at the Romulus High School, He will be missed God bless the Family forever in prayer!!

Mrs. Butler my sincere condolences and
prayer's for your family. He was a great man that i met through my Godmother Pashion Blue.

I was fortunate enough to have had Mr. Butler as a teacher at Romulus Senior High my junior and senior years ('75, 76). He certainly influenced my life then as well as the way I conduct myself to this day. His lesson I carry with me the most is "Whatever you do in life...you MUST always have a plan". I tell my own son this repeatedly even now. Please know that you have touched and guided many, many lives during your time here on earth. Please..please rest peacefully and thank you again for...

my deepest sympathy to the entire Butler family.... i was a student of Mr. Butlers in the "70"'s. he was a wonderful and caring man. it was my privilage and honor to know him. may the Lord always walk close to you and watch over you all. yours, Shelli (Borton) Burrell

My heartfelt condolences go out to Mrs. Butler and the entire family. I first met Brother Butler nearly 3 decades ago. I later became one of his fraternity brothers. He will always be remembered as a reverent man, so full of life and experience. He was soft spoken, but his words resonated. His presence reminds of the un-authored poem, “the past is history, the future a mystery and the present a gift.” I will truly miss this gentle and kind-hearted man.

Lovingly, Tony...

I was deeply saddened to learn of Dr. Oscar Butler's transition. It has been over 45 years since I was a student in his culinary arts vocational program at Romulus High, yet the principles and values he taught are still etched in my memory. He recognized and nutured my passion for advanced studies in culinary arts and became my mentor. With his encouragement, in 1967, I attended Tuskegee University, his alma mater, majoring in culinary arts. While at Tuskegee, I soon learned that Dr. Butler...

It was truly my pleasure to have briefly worked with Dr. Butler. He was a very generous man. Generous with everything he had to give. This world is a better place because of him and his lovely wife. May God wrap his arms around everyone that loved this MAN.

Dr. Butler, Omega will certainly miss your wisdom and intellect.
