THANKS FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO REMEMBER OSCAR ONCE AGAIN. ONE DOES NOT MEET TO MANY GREAT MEN IN A LIFETIME. I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO KNOW AND WORK WITH OSCAR. HE WAS A GREAT PERSON, A LEADER, AND SOMEONE TO BE REMEMBERED. HIS FAMILY CAN ONLY BE PROUD OF THE TIME THEY HAD TO ENJOY HIM. THANKS AGAIN. MORT GOLDBERG

OSCAR WAS A GREAT MAYOR, A FANTASTIC INDIVIDUAL, AND A FRIEND TO ALL. WE ALL MISS HIM.

My condolences to you, Tom.

I worked for Oscar as Director of Personnel when he was Mayor..he was a great leader and public servant.

MY CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY OF OSCAR CORBIN. A GREAT MAN OF FAITH, JUSTICE AND COMPASSION. I AM PROUD TO HAVE KNOWN HIM. MY CONDOLENCES. MORT GOLDBERG

We are saddened to hear of the passing of Oscar Corbin. Our memories of flying with the Corbin's to Tallahassee for Bob Graham's inauguration and other events back in the late '70's and early 80's make us smile. Please accept our condolences.

Dear Ginny:

So very sorry to hear about this sadness. Your exceptional father must have felt it a great comfort that his daughter turned out to be such a fine lady and wonderful mother. Please accept my condolences.

Oscar was a clever, witty, and funny man and a great friend to the end.

In my opinion, Oscar Corbin was one of the most effective, most efficient, and ethical mayors Fort Myers has ever had. He was fiscally responsible, forward looking, and always had time for people who were less fortunate. He left Fort Myers in better shape when he left office--which should be, but alas isn't, the goal of every officeholder. I miss him.
