It was my privilege to work for OB at Southgate Mortgage many years ago. He gave me my first job as a mortgage loan officer. He was kind and generous and has left a wonderful legacy.

Dear Sandy, I was saddened to hear of OB's passing. He is a gentleman whom I truly admired and respected. He was a positive influence in my life and I will remember him.

To the Ferebee family......Please accept my condolences on the loss of a great man. An icon in our industry whos integrity and ethics will linger for decades. He is, as David Wilkey said, not a personal acquaintance of mine, bit a great man whos reputation is so strong it reaches far and beyond his immediate circle. Admirable to say the least in an industry as tough as this one. He will also be remembered as a great pioneer of our industry. I am sure he will be deeply missed in your lives...

Dear Sandy, Mr. Ferebee is a man for whom I will always have a great deal of respect. He did so much for this entire area, in developing so many communities, creating such a well-known company, and training and encouraging so many of us to work hard and love this business. I thank him for all he and GSH taught me and for giving me the best start I could have ever hoped for in this business!

Sandy, I never knew OB but whenever I heard someone speak of him, it was always very positive manner and I knew he had a great reputation. I hope you and your family can find comfort and peace in this time of loss. God bless .
