Not sure what to say?

Tara,Zenobia, and Mom;
Thank you Tara for apprising me of your father's passing. I quickly remembered all the times as "little" girls we shared with him on Norththumberland Ave. The "sneaking we did on him" and the laughter and tears! What a nicely put together Program of his life. Kudos, to whomever put it together. I will keep in touch. My best to your Mom and wish her "peace".

Peace and Love,

I had the pleasure of meeting Oscar at The American Legion through my beloved friend Joe Bailey, who has already gone to be with our Lord God. Our Heavenly Father has called home yet another child of his to live in eternity with him, what a wonderful thing to know that we will see our saved loved ones again. My prayers are with his family, may the Lord God bless you all...

If ever the phrase "God broke the mold when he made you" was true, Mr. J personafied it perfectly. He was truly an original, from his deep voice to the deep laughter. Only Mr. J could deliver an Avon order and leave you smiling. When I received my promotion 2 years ago, he sent a card. Always considerate of others.
T, Zee, and family, our deepest sympathies. Faye Nelson and family (Terry, Tier, Ashley and Devon) He will truly be missed.

To The Johnson Family:
We will truely miss our conversations across the backyard fence with Mr. J. Our prayers are with the family. May the love of God comfort you at this time.

To the family:
Take comfort in knowing that Oscar's living was not in vain. He touched so many lives with his special personality. His wisdom in saying that people should love themselves and live the life that God has given us because we will only come this way once, is so true.
While Oscar will be missed, he will always be remembered by those who knew him. He was truly one of a kind.

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

Zenobia,
I'm not sure if you remember me or not but for a short time I worked for Kaestner and Pitney when they were downtown. At the time, your office was located downstairs. I wanted to let you know how sorry I am to hear about the loss of your father. I know what a difficult time this can be for your and your family. Please find comfort in knowing that he is at peace and resting with the Lord. Take Care.

Uncle Oscar will be truly missed. I will always remember his famous words Johnson's are ten footers.
Remembering him should make us smile and remember "Everyday is a holiday and every night is New Year's Eve"

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
