Not sure what to say?

To the family of Oscar. He will be remembered in my prayers for many years to come. I will miss receiving a card from him at Christmas, just as I missed sending his Nov birthday card and Christmas greeting. He and so many of our friends and family are on the other side in God's glory. Merry Christmas, Barbara

To the Pfanner Family please accept my condolences to the man who greatly influenced and assisted me in my insurance career.

We first met at the Stockton Blvd office in 1975. From Oscar, I learned how the accounting profession interacted with the insurance profession; information that became most valuable as my career progressed.

I'll never forget his parting words when we ended a phone call. "See you on the run" which still rings in my ears.

What a great man...

We were saddened to learn of the death of our good neighbor. We will miss his cheery wave and knowing when the light was on in the kitchen that Oscar was home and surrounded by his loving family.

Oscar was the quintessential tax accountant. Indubitably, he would have computed the medical cost against the estate tax savings of another week on this side before he made his final "tick". Good-bye, old friend.

My dear Pfanner Family, I have just been told of my dear friends passing. He will be remembered in my prayers as will all of his family. I am so sorry that I will not be home to attend the celebration of his life with you. I am in CT with one of my daughters and her family. Oscar has been a friend for over 50 years. Affectionately Barbara Carvalho-Lehmann

To Oscar's family.
We are very sorry to hear of Oscar's passing. To us, he was and always will be remembered as being so full of life, in spite of his problems. He will be missed.

I have fond memories of cutting down our Christmas tree at Mr. Pfanner's house and of seeing him in the office during tax season when we would visit my mom at work. Oscar will be missed. My thoughts are with the entire family.
