Bro. Eackles was a fine christian man who loved the Lord and people. He was a friend to my dad, pastor Horace Joseph, and myself. He always sang. "Serving the Lord will pay off after while " for me . I am sorry that my church did not know of his passing until after the services. We will miss him.

I went to school and with Joe and Ramon and I will always remember how much time Mr. Eackles would take to come to Scotlandville High School to observe and encourage our track team during track practice. He was a very nice and caring man who I will always remember. It was truly a pleasure to have known him.
