Not sure what to say?

Bro. Eackles was a fine christian man who loved the Lord and people. He was a friend to my dad, pastor Horace Joseph, and myself. He always sang. "Serving the Lord will pay off after while " for me . I am sorry that my church did not know of his passing until after the services. We will miss him.

My memories of Otis from Barnard & Burk are of a kind man who was very, very proud of his family of whom he spoke often. May God bless him and his family at this difficult time.

My heart and thoughts go out to the Eackles family during this difficult time. I worked with Mr. Otis at Barnard & Burk many years ago. He was the kindest and most devoted man I have known. Otis always wore a smile and always gave encouraging words to everyone he knew. He was a man that was truly devoted to his Lord. A true man of God that talked the talked and walked the walk. I admired that in him. No doubt this sweet man will be missed by all that knew him. Great news is....we will...

I would like to express my condolences to the Eackles family. I went to school and with Joe and Ramon and I will always remember how much time Mr. Eackles would take to come to Scotlandville High School to observe and encourage our track team during track practice. He was a very nice and caring man who I will always remember. It was truly a pleasure to have known him.
