Not sure what to say?

Evelyn and family,
We just learned of O.G.'s passing and you are in our prayers. Our family has so many wonderful memories of Slaw's restaurant and you (our Buddy) and O.G. You were there for us the evening of our car accident in front of the restaurant and you shared in so many of our family affairs and holiday meals. I think O.G. and my father (Johnny) are having a great time talking together in heaven! May the love and prayers of your family and friends help you at this time. With love,...

The Wootton Family-

I have such fond memories of the years I worked at Slaws. Know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Dear Aunt Evelyn, Jean, Charles, and Jimmy - I am sorry I was not there with you in body, but know I was with you in spirit. Uncle OG will remain steadfast in mymemories!! Love you all - Jean

Dear Jean, Gary and family,
I was sorry to hear about your father's death. He was always a joy to be around and so helpful to all of us in the Appomattox District to provide outstanding service and great fellowship. He will surely be missed by many. I hope that knowing others care will bring you comfort. We will keep all of you in our prayers.

O.G. will always have a warm spot in our many fond memories of our years in Blackstone.

With Deepest Sympathy, Love and Prayers.

Jimmy and family, it is with tremendous sorry I write to express my sorrow for your loss. Mr. Wootton was a great man and even greater father. I have many fond memories of eating at Slaw's after some great high school games. Please know I am thinking of you at this time and may the Lord hold you in the palm of His hand.

Uncle OG was, in my opinion, a humble man that served others. He helped our family, Lynwood, Marie, Mike and Robyn, so many times over the years. He helped me get my first job when my dad,Lynwood, died. Uncle OG and Aunt Evelyn worked hard together. Their food at Slaws can't be matched, anywhere. I am so thankful to have known him and am thankful GOD lets us have our precious memories of people when they are no longer around. Uncle OG will be missed.

Diane and are I wondering if you and Eric have shared a milkshake yet OG? We are proud to be a part of the Slaw's family and have so many memories. Eric once said that Slaw's was his favorite restaurant (@4-5) even more than McDonald's!. OG said to him I CERTAINLY HOPE SO YOUNG MAN! That was him. the Rash family
