Not sure what to say?

Dave and I were saddened to hear that Otto was gone. What a testimony his life was to his love of his family and his Lord. We grieve with you and rejoice with you that he is with his Savior. "Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere."(Psalm 84:10)
With deepest sympathy,
Dave and Brenda Wiersma

Dear Marilyn, Marlene, Karen, and Bob, Jim and I are saddened to hear that Otto has passed away and that we are not able to be with you to show our support. (We're in AZ) We have such fond memories of being together at camp with the Y's Men; of being together for celebrations, like my parents' 50th anniversary; of riding in the boat at Marco Island; stuffing envelopes for GR Mailing Service; and of sharing times of sadness at the passing of family and friends. The friendship that Otto...

My sincere sympathy to the family of Otto. I have pneumonia or I would attend the memorial services for this wonderful man of God. As a little girl, I was taken to Grand Rapids Mailing with my dad, Rev. Jim Schut. Otto was always fun to visit and showed me just how things worked there and where my mail would go. In later years Otto spotted me as I worked in the Corporate Banking Division of NBD Bank on Ottawa Ave. He would always take the time to stop and share special memories of dad's...

We like to extend our deepest sympathy to Marilyn, Children and family. Otto was a dear friend of us. He was positive and lived his life as a Christian. We had many serious conversations. We valued Otto's opinion. There will be an empty place when we as friends get together. Otto is home. He lived according tp Ephesian 4:32. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you.... Dear Marilyn and family,
Our deepest sympathy in the home going of Otto. He was a wonderful man and we know how much you will miss him.
"So the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with singing, and everlasting joy on their heads; they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away." Isaiah 51:11
Our prayers are with you.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family of Otto this week. My husband Mark worked for Otto at Grand Rapids Mailing Service while he attended GRSBM. He spoke highly of his boss and knew him to be a good man who loved the Lord and His Kingdom work. I am grateful for the many good things my husband learned while working for Otto. He went on to be a pastor and is now home in heaven. I'm sure he will meet and greet his precious boss and share their precious faith and memories together!...

Dear Bette and John,
Jack and I send our sympathy to you in the death of your brother. May he be happy and healthy in heaven as he joins family members who've gone before him.

Dear Marlene and Paul,

My deepest and sincerest sympathy on your loss.

Marlene, I must honestly admit that had it not been for our reconnection at our recent 40th high school reunion; together with a very very faint memory of the name Otto DeBruyn, I likely would not have clicked on his name, read the obituary and made the connection to you and Paul.

Paul, if my memory is correct, there is some past connection between you and Dave Bratt, who is a very dear...
