Not sure what to say?

I have absolutely no idea what I am going to write about Otto, so please bear with with me as I babble. Otto will always be my forever MENTOR. I thoroughly enjoyed the 4 years of art with him. Otto opened my eyes unleashing a hunger to see all things beautiful and purposeful. I was deeply touched when he singled out my clay pot/thrown on the wheel back in the day. How did I know Otto "Buddy" Duecker. As a friend since 4th grade, as a friend of his dad's in latter years, as a student who blew the rest of us away in Mr Cagles art class, as a neighbor of the Chalmer's boys, who were his next door neighbors. I know he will be missed by many of us from the 1966 Class at Memorial High School.

Bud (Buddy, as he was called at Memorial HS) was a kind, quiet, studious guy. We dated some in HS, but I perceive he was pretty unassuming since he never mentioned his art abilities. Wow! I am sad to hear of his passing. Fondly, Janie (Saxby) Hedrick
