Not sure what to say?

Rest in peace in the arms of our Savior. Condolences to the entire Ferchau family. Distant relative from Argentina, Mariana Fink

2015 We return to Canarsie. Otto help his son Karl find a house, converted from a doctor/ dentist office. Otto grandson Henry is a big guy now. He get into college on some chemistry major, completely overwhelmed how difficult it is. This is also the first time I meet the family dog, Oreo.

2009 part 2 I visit family farm in upstate New York that same time. The farm is not there, but the house is fully modernized I never imagine there can be fields of blossoming flowers, woods, and a water pump while driving through the mountains.

Fast forward to 2009. A family reunion again in the New York City area. One relative, his name is Mueller, who came from a German speaking community in Argentina. This makes sense, because during the Otto von Bismarck era in the late 1800s, a lot of Germans buy some farmland in Argentina. When there is winter in the Northern Hemisphere, there is summer in the Southern Hemisphere.

2002 (again) Otto and his son David had some argument about adjusting heating/ air conditioning gauge on the second floor. "Don´t put the two gauges together, or it might short circuit". I thought it was kind of funny, seemed like a scene from a Jerry Seinfeld episode.

2007 Kinarsi, New York A surprise wedding anniversary for Otto and Matilda at one of these German beer halls. Over 200 people showed up. This was the first time I saw Otto´s grandson, Henry. He was only a kid at the time.

2002 (continued) My brother and I were lifting heavy furniture from the basement to upstairs. My mom started talking to us. We simply said, "No talking!"

2002. Brooklyn, New York. Aunt Mildred haus. I find a hidden box of silverware in a secret closet. I bring it down to kitchen.

I had the pleasure of meeting Otto only once when he graciously met us for a visit at his condo in Florida. Even though we were primarily strangers, Otto was extremely welcoming. He even took the time to answer my many questions regarding the artwork hanging in his study. I could tell he was an intelligent and creative individual who took pride in his family because he told us many times that everything he did, he did for his kids. I did not know Otto well, but I know his kind heart lives...
