Otto and I were classmates and teammates in the class of 1950 at Blessed Sacrament School, 620 Clinton Ave (now a charter school) in Newark, lovingly taught by the Sisters of St Joseph. He was "one of the guys",well respected and good natured. Our school won the Archdiocese of Newark(essex,Union,Bergen,Passaic counties) baseball championship in 1950. We were a fairly good team but the reason we won it was OTTO. Dear Nick and Lee - Our sympathy to you on your dear loss. Otto was a wonderful next door neighbor and will never forget him bringing over an electric line when we were moving in just in case we hadn't gotten our electric turned on yet. That is just one of the niceties we received through the years of all of the Hornlein Family. We will surely miss him.

Bruce and I are sending a light to guide Otto's and we express our sorrow to this Great man's friends and family.

You where a wonderful man and we will miss you. Donna and Greg

Dear Hornlein Family and Lee
Please accept our sincere condolences with Otto's passing. He was a friend to all in fact, when we decided to join Post 5 in Rahway, the friendliness of Otto and others sealed our decision. He is a friend that we will surely miss.
God Bless You Otto, may you rest in peace, Love, Blanche,Eddie and family.
