Not sure what to say?

Otto was such a delight.... He never failed to make me smile, often made me chuckle, and sometimes even made me laugh out loud. A vivid storyteller, sometimes I could almost see Skippy walking beside him. I'm so sorry he is gone, but rest assured that his spirit is with many of us at the Grady College always, as well as with many who had the privilege of being his student.

I had the privilege of being on the ADPR faculty in the Grady College with Otto for almost 20 years. It was fun to watch him challenge and inspire a generation of aspiring copywriters and art directors. Through his tough, but fair assessments, he helped prepare them for successful careers. Otto's sense of humor and wit were unmatched. He kept us entertained with his tales of Skippy and the blue-haired ladies at the opera. I will always smile when I think of him. So very sorry for your loss.

Otto was one of my favorite Grady colleagues! He always had a smile, a joke, or a witty comment. For many years he kept us smiling. I've missed him in retirement and will forever now think fondly of him! Blessings to family and closest friends.

My condolences my condolences to the family . I deeply regret I am un able to attend this service. Otto was a close friend . At the University of Georgia we both took classes in the School of Journalism and the Visual Arts. As a lifelong friend I appreciated so much about Otto , most importantly that he inspired and encouraged me to to complete my degrees to become an art teacher.
I enjoyed his humor and knowledge while working at Smith

It was such a pleasure knowing Otto Smith!! I worked with Otto at the Grady College of Journalism & Mass Comm., UGA, for a long time. This professor could turn just about anything into a comedy show!! So many good memories of life at the J School/Grady! My SYMPATHY to the Smith Family.
